Together, these palettes allow students to explore a wide range of techniques — from transparent gradients to intense color fields — while experiencing the cultural character of two distinct artistic traditions.
100% cotton paper
For paper, we use 100% cotton cold-pressed and rough-texture paper in various weights (typically 200–300 gsm), which allows for excellent absorption, smooth layering, and vibrant color retention.
Granulating watercolours
These create magical textures as pigment particles separate on paper, adding a natural, almost meditative feel to your artwork. Granulating paints are especially loved for landscapes, botanicals, abstract textures, and skies — turning even a simple flower or mountain into a poetic scene.
This ensures that students can experiment freely without warping, overworking, or losing brilliance.
Selection of professional watercolour brushes including soft natural-hair and synthetic options, ideal for both delicate washes and fine detail. We provide all tools and materials — just bring your presence and curiosity.
