A warm, aromatic journey for the senses
Let the scent of coffee slow you down. Each stroke invites you to reconnect with your imagination β to create, breathe, and simply be. As coffee steams and brushes move, everyday thoughts fade away, replaced by calm focus and quiet joy.
The Experience of Five Senses
In this workshop, art becomes a ritual: the warmth of the cup in your hands, the rhythm of gentle sound, the feeling of returning to yourself through color, aroma, and touch.
π Sight
The palette unfolds like a morning ritual β deep browns of roasted beans, golden crema tones, soft beige hues. Together, they shape tranquil, earthy compositions filled with quiet depth.
β Touch
Wooden sticks and brushes move slowly, spreading thick layers of coffee pigment. Grains of salt meet liquid stains, forming delicate, organic textures β rough and smooth, just like the contrast between ground coffee and brewed warmth.
π Smell
The aroma of freshly brewed coffee fills the atelier from the first moments. It centers attention, evokes memories, and brings a sense of calm focus to each gesture.
π Taste
We share cups of coffee throughout the session β small pauses between layers of paint. The taste becomes part of the rhythm, grounding the creative flow in comfort and presence.
π Hearing
Grinding beans, pouring water, quiet conversations, and gentle brush movements weave into a meditative soundtrack β the background music of creation.
What We Create
Each participant leaves with a textured painting infused with the essence of coffee β both in color and spirit.
Some paint steaming cups, others abstract visions of aroma and warmth. Every canvas holds a personal story β shaped by touch, scent, and emotion.
Our coffee painting workshops, led by Ukrainian artist Liudmyla Makey, begin with a mindful coffee ceremony β a simple moment to breathe, connect, and set an intention before the first stroke.
Whether you paint a flower, a bird, or something purely abstract, you are invited to tell your story, your way.
What out guests say about Coffee painting

Even though we all used the same materials, each person created a unique story filled with the aroma of coffee. The evening ended with coffee on the rooftop, overlooking all of Pristina β like the palm of your hand.

I was surprised that itβs possible to paint using coffee β and even more surprised how inspiring it felt.
