Founder of the Prishtina Art Atelier, Artist, COO of Cyber Academy
Anna Congedo is a multidisciplinary creator whose journey blends tech, art, and the transformative power of human connection. Originally from Ukraine, Anna moved to Kosovo to open a company office — but like many in migration, she found herself not just in a new place, but in the process of rebuilding identity and meaning.
Her new life in Prishtina began with support and community. Thanks to Ars Kosova Foundation and Sihana Badivuku, Anna was able to return to her passion: developing digital platforms and advising entrepreneurs.
But it was a chance encounter with journalist and artist Liudmyla Makey that reignited another calling - painting.
Her wish was to have “a room to keep my brushes and paint” and it sparked something greater. It grew into the Art Atelier in Prishtina, now a vibrant space of creativity, healing, and new beginnings.
“You don’t need to be born an artist to begin,” Anna says. “Art doesn’t ask for perfection — it asks for presence.”
✨ More Than Art — A New Life in Exile
The atelier has become a gathering point for women and children from Ukraine and beyond, offering workshops, art circles, and emotional grounding. It’s a place where people form new roots through drawing, watercolor, traditional Petrykivka art, and transformational games like “Women’s Happiness”, guided by psychologist Alla Korchakova.
Anna’s own painting journey began only four years ago in Dnipro, Ukraine, under the guidance of local artists. Since then, she has explored:
- 💧 Watercolor — her first and enduring love
- 🎨 Acrylic and oil — capturing personal memories and landscapes
- 🌸 Gouache — used to explore Petrykivka, a traditional Ukrainian decorative style that feels embedded in her soul
Even after evacuating her paintings during the war, they now hang in her studio in Prishtina — vibrant witnesses of a life remade in color.
Through her work, Anna continues to create not only visual beauty, but spaces where resilience, creativity, and shared experience come together — stroke by stroke, story by story.
